Eagles Nest in the Swiss Mountains
After sunset it gets cozy in here, with candlelight and the warmth from the fireplace. A winter tea, a good book and music in the background lets the dream of a holiday home in the mountains become reality. In the back our wooden installation in oak with integrated wardrobe and guest bathroom.
Unbelievable that there’s a wardrobe and the guest bathroom hidden behind the oak room divider. The doors and the door handles remain almost hidden. A minimalistic approach to leave the focus on the room itself.
View from the living room over the mountains.
From all corner of the room the fireplace is visible. The glass is slideable to the top for an open fireplace.
A modern couch with ‘mountain-chic’ deco to give the interiors the right alpine-feeling.
Spacious dinner area for cozy times with family and friends.
The bar counter for a quick meal or an apéro while the host prepares the meal in the kitchen.
The steam vent which also serves as light.
Storage area and small table in one.
The view from the living-room to the master suite. On the left the guest room, on the right the guest bathroom.
The master suite with a natural stone wall behind the bed.
View from the master bathroom to the bedroom.
The Master bathroom with big sink and a shiny photo-wall.
The guest room with view over the mountains.
Guestroom with a small desk. A hanging sideboard next to the bed.
The guest bathroom with a Philipp Stark-toilet.
The right fit for every season.
